'F1' Teaser: Brad Pitt Takes the Lead in a Formula 1 Racing Film Directed by the Director of 'Top Gun: Maverick'
The teaser for a new Formula 1 racing movie titled “F1,” starring Brad Pitt and also featuring Damson Idris, has been released by Apple Original Films. In the film, Pitt plays Sonny Hayes, a former Formula 1 driver who makes a comeback to the sport. He teams up with and mentors rookie teammate Joshua Pearce (Idris) on the fictional APXGP team. Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo complete the ensemble cast. Bardem takes on the role of the team boss at APXGP.
Filming for “F1” has included scenes shot at real Formula 1 events such as last year’s British Grand Prix and the Rolex 24 at Daytona sportscar race earlier this year.
